Viewing the Family Vault
In the web browser:
Open the WayWiser app on your computer.
Click Family Vault on the left side of your screen.
Files and folders will be sorted in four (4) content types: Daily Living, Financial, Medical, and Personal.
Click the down arrow to see subfolders and uploaded files in each content type.
In the mobile app:
Open the WayWiser app on your phone.
Tap the Document icon (
) at the bottom of the screen.
Tap on the uploaded document you want to view.
NOTE:
At this time, users are able to only upload documents to the Family Vault through the WayWiser web app, but are able to view documents in both the web app and mobile apps.
Only Circle members assigned to each of the content types can view files and folders in them.
List of documents is displayed in chronological order, from last modified/uploaded to first.
FILES
Adding a File:
Click Family Vault on the left side of your screen.
Click Upload New Document in the dark orange box in the upper right hand corner.
Drag & Drop a file from your computer or click Browse to search for a file on your computer—supported file formats are JPEG, PNG, GIF, and PDF.
Choose the file’s content type of Daily Living, Financial, Medical, or Personal.
Click Upload.
NOTE:
If users within your Trusted Circle do not have access to one or any of the above listed content types, they will not be able to view documents in those content types.
Deleting/Removing a File:
Click Family Vault on the left side of your screen.
Click on the content type in which file is located.
Click Delete.
Click Okay.
Moving a File to a Different Directory or Folder:
Click Family Vault on the left side of your screen.
Click on the content type in which file is located.
Click Move.
Click on the new content type and/or subfolder name.
Click Move.
Click Okay.
A green box will appear at the bottom of the screen stating that the File has been successfully moved.
NOTE:
User also can move files through the View Info window. For Step 4, click View Info instead of Move. Then click the down arrow in the Content Type box. Choose the new content type for the file. A light green confirmation box will show up at the bottom of your screen.
Remember if a file is moved to a new content type, only Circle members who have permission to access that /content type can see the file.
Renaming a File
Click Family Vault on the left side of your screen.
Click on the content in which file is located.
Click ... Actions on the right side of the file name.
Click Rename.
Type the new name in the gray File Name box.
Click Okay.
Viewing File Information
Click Family Vault on the left side of your screen.
Click on the content type in which file is located.
Click ... Actions on the right side of the file name.
Click View Info box—you can view and/or change the content type, view who created the file, who last edited the file, and which Circle members can view the file.
To close the box, click the X in the upper right hand corner of the box.
Downloading a File from the Family Vault
Click Family Vault on the left side of your screen.
Click on the content type in which file is located.
Click ... Actions on the right side of the file name.
Click Download.
FOLDERS
Adding a folder:
Click on Family Vault on the left side of your screen.
Click on the content type name under which the new folder will be added.
Click Add Folder in the light orange box in the upper right hand corner.
Type in the Folder Name in the gray box.
Click Okay.
NOTE: Only subfolders can be added. Up to 10 subfolders can be created for each category.
Deleting/Removing a Folder:
Click Family Vault on the left side of your screen.
Click on the content type in which folder is located.
Click Remove.
Click Okay.
Moving a Folder to a Different Content Type:
Click Family Vault on the left side of your screen.
Click on the content type in which folder is located.
Click Move.
Click on the new content type.
Click Move.
Click Okay.
A green box will appear at the bottom of the screen stating that the Folder has been successfully moved.
NOTE: In the Move pop-up box, users can create a new subfolder to which they can move the folder without having to exit the window. Click New Folder to create a new subfolder. Click on the new subfolder. Click Move.
Renaming a Folder:
Click Family Vault on the left side of your screen.
Click on the content type in which folder is located.
Click ... Actions on the right side of the folder name.
Click Rename.
Type the new name in the gray Folder Name box.
Click Okay.
